This Privacy Policy explains how Vemito handles information when you use the app. Vemito is designed for creating, saving, and browsing lightweight walking route cards, including route details, ambience notes, mood tags, and optional photos selected by you.
This policy applies to the app and related support communications. It does not apply to services, websites, or platforms operated by third parties.
2. Information You Provide
You may provide route-related content, such as start and end points, estimated walking time, route highlights, quietness and shade ratings, suitable times, mood tags, personal profile text, and photos you choose from your device. You are responsible for deciding what to include in this content.
If you contact us for support, you may provide your email address and the information you include in your message.
3. Device, App, and Purchase Information
The app may process basic operating information needed to run its features, such as app settings, saved route identifiers, locally published route cards, unlock status, and coin balance. If you make an in-app purchase, Apple and the App Store process the payment and may provide purchase confirmation information needed to deliver the purchased item inside the app.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not require a subscription by default.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the app, save your preferences, show your walking route cards, support photo-based route entries, provide purchased in-app items, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and protect the app from misuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your route cards or photos for targeted advertising.
5. Service Providers and Platform Services
Some app functions depend on platform services provided by Apple, including the App Store, in-app purchases, device permissions, diagnostics, and operating system features. Those services are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
If future support, analytics, crash reporting, or hosting providers are used, they will be used only as needed to operate, secure, or support the app.
6. Local Records and Retention
Route cards, saved walks, profile details, app preferences, and similar app records may be stored locally on your device. You can remove app content through app controls where available or by deleting the app from your device.
Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and protect legitimate interests.
7. Your Choices and Permissions
You can choose what route content to create, what photos to add, and whether to save or remove local app information. You can manage photo access and other permissions in your device settings.
